Your wedding ceremony site is an important part of your special day
Due to space constraints, and sincere concern for providing a weather-safe experience to our clients, we are not able to host onsite ceremonies at Dry Creek Farm.
We understand that some couples may see this as a challenge but we hope you see it as an opportunity where we can help you pair our reception venue with an amazing and convenient site for your ceremony. We have several creative solutions, including a partnership with the fabulous [historic Ryssby Church] located just one mile away, and the [historic Old Mill Park] located a few miles away in Southwest Longmont. We are committed to helping you make ceremony arrangements, if needed, with local churches, places of worship, and nearby ceremony locations so you can easily plan this important and sacred part of your wedding day. Please see below for some ceremony site options that we have connections to, and would love to work with.
We are happy to help couples make an incredible “rain or shine” plan for all aspects of their wedding day including ceremony and reception.
Ryssby Church Indoor or Outdoor Ceremony Site
The owners of Dry Creek Farm have a particular fondness for Ryssby Church as this is where we were married, many years ago. In fact, our love for Ryssby and the Clover Basin Valley is what attracted us to our farm. We still have a tight connection to the non-profit Ryssby Foundation and feel it is a fantastic option for couples wanting a breath-taking, rain or shine, ceremony and photo opportunities either inside the chapel our outside in the church yard. With Ryssby being only one mile away (as the crow flies), it is only a handful of minutes to drive between ceremony and reception. We are committed, at Dry Creek Farm, to help couples connect with and book both our reception venue, and the Ryssby Church, for a surprising affordable rate.
Old Mill Park Outdoor Ceremony Site
The owners of Dry Creek Farm also have a tight connection with Old Mill Park and the non-profit St. Vrain Historical Site. Our family has spent many hours volunteering to help restore and beautify Old Mill Park. It is truly a magical place. One service that the St. Vrain Historical Society offers, is for folks to lease out Old Mill Park for private events. This makes it a perfect place to hold wedding ceremonies. Your nominal rental fee becomes a donation to Old Mill Park to provide funds for maintenance and restoration of St. Vrain Historical Society properties. Old Mill Park is located 5.3 miles from Dry Creek Farm. We are committed, at Dry Creek Farm, to help couples connect with and book both our reception venue, and Old Mill Park, for a surprising affordable rate.
